Levi obtained his PhD in Computing Science from the University of Alberta in 2013 and was until 2019 a Professor at Universidade Federal de Viçosa, Brazil. Levi is now an Amii Fellow and an Assistant Professor in the Computing Science Department at the University of Alberta. Levi is interested in developing intelligent systems to augment people through teaching and collaboration. His research lies in the intersection of Heuristic Search, Machine Learning, and Program Synthesis, with applications in sequential decision making problems.
