Li Cheng is an Associate Professor with the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, U of A. Prior to joining U of A, Li worked at A*STAR, Singapore, TTI-Chicago, USA, and NICTA, Australia. He obtained Ph.D. in Computer Science from the University of Alberta in 2004. His research in applied machine learning and computer vision has resulted in over 90 referred papers including those published at venues such as IEEE Trans. Pattern Analysis and Machine Intelligence, International Journal of Computer Vision, and ICCV, CVPR, MICCAI, NeurIPS, ICML, AAAI.
